@ and she played the game for 2 hrs before the show. claims she killed Blade, but B claims he's not in the mood to kill so he let her. [sure, B!]
@ oh ronnie's at the k-lite office. but they'll go on bash him just the same, harhar. monica sez ronnie's newly neutered. more harhar.

@ theme from wise guy. and mr encyclopedia Lil D goes on and tells us that ken wahl was in our lovely country doing a war movie. also went out w/ tetchie agbayani. tv show also featured a young kevin spacey as a villain. who has a kinky relationship w/ his sister. [wow the kinky part is interesting]

@ 1st caller jessie shares w/ us his [ah.. her] situation where her ex-boyfriend had a relationship w/ a girl only two weeks after jessie broke up w/ the exbf. now the exbf called jessie and cried to jessie on the phone, saying the girl is now getting married to another guy. yes, the exbf was taken for a ride. long story short: jessie had revenge w/out even trying. yipee. oh and btw, the girl also calls jessie up.
[jessie girl that's so cool. hurrah]

@ roswell theme is aired. [i thought they said they've been playing this theme many many times...]

@ guys talk about automan. B sez that show was on channel 4. [guess that proves his tv addiction from way back]

@ 2nd caller irene [not me] asks how to handle a significant other who is very much career-driven.
L sez stay away from him coz it's something that's part of him, not just something that they do. it isn't about their career, it's about their existence.
irene sez it isn't really a prob, she understands, and she's got a lot of patience, but sometimes it gets too frustrating. and one time he called her while he was drunk, saying she's being a nag, and that she doesn't need a boyfriend, not ready for a relationship. oh she met her at the hospital. her mom was sick and his dad had a bypass surgery [sic.] irene wonders how to handle this situation.
B sez if she's not cool w/ a situation where she's going to have to sit around for him, better leave the relationship. coz she'll just end up depressed about it...
L adds, it's better to take care of the situation at an earlier time, [as in a.s.a.p.] coz maybe the guy doesnt know how much it's already affecting the person who is the one getting hurt.
B sez maybe he'll not get involved w/ someone who's way too driven.
M sez maybe B doesnt want the girl to be much more driven than he is.
[irene, u are not a spare tire. is ur relationship w/ him just all about second best? duh? u're not a backup, r u?]

@ B sez he's suddenly reminded of a girl who was also very goal-oriented.
L: regine?
M: agot? [i hear somebody opening something from the background]
B: i'm still waiting regine... sige na nga i luv u regine....
M asks B what it is about his fixation w/ regine, B sez it's from way back during his career w/ another station, and he's loyal.
M sez B is a creature of habit.

M sez she should get paid for her psychoanalysis.
L sez she's a psycho.

3rd caller pio. BIG problem here, abt friendship & intimacy
[sorry pio im out of practice for a long long time] he's an ex-seminarista and now has a gf. meets lots of women, engages in intimate relationships. [no wonder he's a seminarista no more] he's being disloyal to his gf coz he sees himself being the boyfriend of some girls.
L sez this problem is started and can be ended by one person: pio.
M asks if pio can stay just friends w/ the other girls.
L sez if a guy spends time meant for his gf, but spends it w/ other girls, then thats...
B: cheating. pio finds a girl sweet when he calls up a girl and she's able to make him feel better.

@ 4th caller nerisa consults monica, on a situation where the girl is in a relationship where the guy is younger than she is.
M: being young itself isn't a prob, it's more of what he does. nerisa is 30 and guy's 23. she has a baby. [crying in the background, B claims the baby is the guy, harhar patawa.] an instance is when his friends are downstairs chatting w/ his friends till the wee hrs of the morning.
L: if it's bothering u now there's nothing u can do about it.
B: he's only 23. nerisa sez it bothers her that he isn't responsible enough. w/ his friends he can stay up late but w/ his family he goes to sleep early and not take care of the baby. shares w/ us altho they both decided on getting married, she had a few other ideas...sometimes she gets paranoid when he stays out for a longer time than expected. and yes it gets worse.. she's considering a 1-yr job in london next yr...
M: the child is going to suffer more, not the husband...
L: critical for the child...
B: ur husband working?
nerisa: not yet, he just graduated....
B: ask him to work, he can do something....
M: two paychecks are better than one.
B: he will be able to get money and u can spend more time w/ ur child...
L: better think about it hard.
nerisa asks for tripod's advice on how to deal w/ paranoia
M: pray abt it, its really tough to overcome..., deal w/it urself, trust coz if there's no trust it gets rocky.
L: figure out rootcause & it'll follow. get back the trust to remove paranoia. i dont really know, it really depends on the situation.... [nerisa tough situation.. u dont trust him and he sounds irresponsible..... are u aware u r now taking care of two children]

@ 1:24, caller mel. sez her professor played a prank on her, telling her on the phone he is an admirer, and greeted her happy birthday.
L tells her to just apologize for banging the phone. [this girl sounds like she's flirting w/ the teacher coz she one time brought him to a k-lite movie preem. if she didn't like him she wouldn't have brought him in the 1st place.]
M: laki ng problema mo, u know we're impeaching a prez here... [nice one, monica!]

oh they're doing a live action scooby-doo? there goes hollywood again. cheapens the holines of my scooby.
B: hollywood ran out of ideas.
M: they're doing josie and the pussycats. tara reid is doing the dumb blonde role..melody and...rachael leigh cook i can never like [but B's fave] doing josie, the brunette, the one who gets the guys. the meanie what's her name...sebastian and the...distortedly pronounced 'bitch' [alexandra? sounds like]

@ caller bandy [B: or dido] gets on air. he sounds bad here what's w/ this guy..hmn, his wife pisses him off coz she had an affair. hasn't caught her on the spot but has his sources. his wife is seen w/ someone else. not a joke [of course its not a joke]. they parted ways, but still bothered w/ what to do. separated for months since march. has a daughter. did not part ways on good terms. admits he hurt her physically. [sounds guilty too] she lied in front of her parents when he confronted her about it. he blew his fuse and hit her, broke her finger. [violent!!] he can't take the fact that she doesn't admit her faults.
L sez it isnt an excuse to hit her, fix this & reconcile or...i didnt get this part oops sorry.
L asks if he can forgive her, goes on to say looks like he can't..
L sez sometimes reconciliation is possible but at other times it doesnt work...and he should start thinking of the future, coz everything that's happened is already water under the bridge.
B sez he seems to wallow in self-pity, B adds he's been there done that...
L: its either u live w/ it or..... [this one's pretty long so lets make this short] L encourages bandy to stop thinking of his own image, it isn't about his friends saying stuff about him, but it's more of moving on...
[bandy, nice to hear u parted ways w/ her, coz u might've killed her already. to me u sound desperate to reconcile w/ her provided she admits her faults. but it seems she will not admit them at all. u obviously can't stand her, so move on. i don't see a reconciliation here. sad, but true. maybe ud like to consider legal separation or annulment? do i sound drastic?]

@ Before I get started with my recap, I would like to apologize first about the fact that I wasn't able to give you the recap last week. I took down notes but I didn't have much coz I was at work and had to run around again while listening. Tina taped it but I think she had no time to write it pa. Thanks to Irene for her wonderful version and say, will you do everything na lang?...hehe..just kiddin...

And, another apology coming!...I was planning to record the episode earlier coz I'm actually off from work today to make up for not doing it last week pero still I failed. I had to attend to Tweepy at the hospital coz she just had an operation (Open cholecystectomy) and I stayed there till her husband arrived...which is about 11:30 already. (Grrr) I arrived home at around 12:10 and looked for my blank tapes for 5 minutes to no avail...so i decided to write it down as I listen na lang. I got my walkman ready instead and went to my bed while waiting for the tripod..then I dozed off...Gees!..Buti na lang I heard the phone ring so I woke up...just in time for the first caller...12:45 na yata non. A bit late...but still..I heard the calls..but I was too sleepy so shortcut ang notes. After the first caller...my cousin from the States called...so I missed the next caller...Grabe...i can't put down the phone kasi syempre overseas...Haay..so much of making up for lost times! Sowee people....Still, I'm giving you a rundown of some of the things I've actually managed to write. Another thing is, I actually didn't write much coz I thought maybe while I'm typing I'd recall na lang the things said pero...as of this moment...I can't recall a single thing. Sheesh!..This is as good as it gets na lang...

Recap now! (Too much about nothing)

Caller #1 - Mel (or was it Nel..still groggy here) She talked about this friend she had who is actually jealous of her coz she's friends with a guy friend she's attracted to right now. This guy friend courted her (Mel) before and she dumped him but right now they're working on being friends again. And that is making her other friend feel bad.
Lil D: You should work on fixing your friendship with the girl. It's unreasonable and if you condone her unreasonable behavior your not a friend too.
Monica: This is something girls can do. We can easily bounce back to being friends with guys we dumped before not like the guys. Enjoy your friendship now with the guy. She's not acting much as a friend. Put your foot down and tell her that there's no reason for insane jealousy. If it won't work..you make a choice.
Blade: You and your female friends should talk more with each other. Fix it and make sure you remain friends with the one who's worth it.

Caller#3 - Aina - (I recognized her voice, she's the Me-ann who talked about being linked with gay men before and was teased by her classmates)
I missed the first part of the call but my cousin hung up in time for me to hear Monica say Hi! Ada...which made me wonder why..then I got it. The caller was telling them that she's at senior year in Nursing but she still is not loving it and wants to shift course. She never liked it anyway din daw and she made a choice naman kasi because she thinks Nursing doesn't have Math and a handsome guy somewhat convincd her to take up the course. She doesn't want to work as a nurse. (Fine!..then don't! ..says me!..medyo napikon ako dito more so that she kinda bumaliktad at the end saying I like taking care of people..talking counter transference and all..Duh!..I want to say more...pero huwag na lang.)
Lil D: Deciding what course to take will affect your life greatly. If you shift courses now you'd trouble yourself with more problems and do you think it's worth it? You tend to listen to many people and get swayed by their ideas easily. Do what you want and take time to think about it.
Blade: If you ever decide to shift course make sure you get what you want already. You're the one to decide for your future. But don't dive again too fast.
Monica: For the first time, listen to yourself. Finish your course, take the board exams, work as a nurse for about a year or so and if you still think you don't wanna then go find the thing you want. At least try.
