  December 12 - The One With The Guys Only Episode

@ No Monica Day - Guys were saying....Yipee! No Singing! @ 1st Caller - MAC - Single Since Birth. Scared of Rejection. Not good dealing with the opposite sex. Never dated. He's 23.

LD - You need a makeover. First of all you need to relax. Think Positive. Girls are just as scared as guys are. It's just a matter of someone starting and breaking the ice. Just do it. It comes a lot easier after the first step.

B - Don't hurry. Enjoy yourself and before you know it, bam (bus?), girls are everywhere.

B - It doesn't sound okay if you court two girls at the same time. Word EXCLUSIVITY comes to mind. Technically, you're cheating. You're the one doing the wooing..

LD - Put yourself in the shoes of the girl. She thinks he's courting me, likes me, blah, blah and then you court another girl. What would you feel? She's just trying to decide kaya she entertains other suitors. You're not in the position to stop that yet.

( I was at home celebrating the holidays with my family in the province but thanks to Miss Monica for lending me the tape of this episode that I missed. I also wanna thank the people who were texting me the whole time the show was on. Believe me, it's like i'm actually there. Detailed, over! )

@ Monica – It's so hard to get up especially if its nice and cold and you just wanna stay snuggled up in bed and you're too lazy to even take a bath.
LD – Last week, she didn’t take a bath for two days! I swear!
Monica – Yeah right! ( And we say, yeah right too…hehe)
Blade – No wonder there’s a lingering smell inside the booth.

@ Everyone was eating Lenggua while on air…( whatever happened to not talking while your mouth is full…beats me. Lenggua’s fault!)

M – You should start going out and start talking to women. You gotta Seize the day, Carpe Diem. From Ed (TV show ): When you’re old and gray and you didn’t do what you wanna do in life (unless you wanna rob a bank or something), You’ll forever wonder what could have been. You might get depressed. Hit and Miss. Sooner or later you are gonna hit what’s not gonna miss.
B – (Hey, caller said female point of view….whatever!) Never mind about rejection. If you fail in your conquest, at least you could say, I was able to do that.

2nd CALLER – KERMIT – He has the same birthday as K-lite. (not at all significant but, wala lang) he was a caller 4 years ago. He wanted to air his appreciation to the K-lite DJ’s. Not much on the the entertainment but the companionship. A long history of K-lite came next. He remembers the previous DJ’s: Joshua..
LD – Who?, Martin Gil..LD – Who? Taliban Guy? (And then some pambobola….)
He says that Monica’s singing is getting better. (Like it was bad then….no way! Still the same…puts me into deep sleep, sometimes coma.) Some inquiry about: Monica’s Jokes…
M – They kinda held me at gunpoint and asked me to stop. I had to choose between Jokes and songs and since I can’t stop from singing (not D Diva for nothing), I stopped telling jokes.
Ming Dynasty …M – these guys are mean. They kept on hitting me in the head. They burned the Ming Dynasty to death.

@ BILL DOZER – Narcoleptic. Sleeping during preems, Joseph the Dreamer…almost all the time he’s idle.

LD – It’s bolahan evening today!

@ Story about Ronnie…
Monica was supposed to go to work at 11am following Ronnie’s boardwork. But Monica was late (one of those veeery rare times, believe me) so she texted Ronnie from her car and said she’s on board 12 pa. (Of course she’s just playing with Ronnie) There’s this rule that DJ’s can’t say goodbye unless next DJ is already at the office. So Ronnie was frantic and said, No! We’re on shortened schedule. Monica goes, Bahala ka. Ronnie went to Blade and Blade goes…I don’t know, ask LD. Then Andy Man dropped by and kids Ronnie that he’s on at 12. Ronnie’s already panicking big time so he called Monica’s house and Monica’s mom answered and she goes….She’s still asleep! (Monica’s mom didn’t see her leave) …[eeeps! I swear, this story is funny, I just don’t know how to relate it well. Dang! I ruined the story] M – That’s what he gets for not making anyone sing in our Christmas party and holding on to the mike the whole time.
