And the Countdown Began - (12/15/99) Sheila Soriano Ten more days and it's Christmas! Six days after, it's Year 2000!!! So what are your thoughts, what are your wishes? For me, that we start from scratch as if we haven't been born yet. That the old values come back, that there isn't any line drawn between the rich and the poor. If we have to go back to the old practices, why not? If only for us to be aware that we are all brothers and sisters: no favoritism, no discrimination, and no violence. I long for that, the basics. Whether this bank or that is Y2K compliant or not, in the end, money will not matter. It's how you've been to others: be they your family, your friends or the stranger right in front of you. Nitelite - January 30/97 by Vikkicar most of the times unexpected things happen things that you don't have any control over you find a certain thing that makes you happy a place where you're comfortable in a place you can say you're a part of even for a while people who welcome you regardless of who you are or of what you think   life's tough as we all know it but they tend to make it seem nice and easy you may think you got a BIG problem but wait til you hear other people's dilemma makes you realize you're still lucky you may think that you are weird but others claim to be vampires you may think a pet is just an animal but to most people it's their friend   you may think Simone is uncool but it's really you who's insecure you may think your looks is a problem but in reality it's how you carry yourself you may think you're nothing but they'll let you feel you're something you may think nobody cares but there are total strangers who does   every week they give you two hours of mixed emotions but then again two hours with them is like a 20 minute lunch break you'd still crave for some more but we can't have everything right? so, we just have to be cool and wait for the next wednesday midnight to come for sure, it'll be another fun time with Little David and Monica
